Description

With the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the Jean Monnet Network European Transoceanic Encounters and Exchanges (ETEE)(link is external) aims at enhancing understanding and teaching about Europe’s place and role in today’s world by looking at its present and past transoceanic relations and connectivities. Together with the founding partner university KU Leuven, the ETEE Network includes the University of Amsterdam, the University of California, Berkeley, Kobe University, São Paulo State University-UNESP, Seoul National University, Nanyang Technological University and Jawaharlal Nehru University as participating partners.

The webinar series brings a multidisciplinary take on European encounters with other regions, reflecting on how past and present interactions coexist and co-constitute in discourse and practice.
