Bio/CV: 

Prof. Dana Redford is an internationally recognized expert on entrepreneurship, innovation and public policy. He has worked as an expert for the US Department of Commerce, the European Commission, the OECD, the UN and various European and African governments.

He coordinated the largest policy experimentation project(link is external) on entrepreneurship in schools in the EU, co-edited the Entrepreneurial University Handbook(link is external) and co-developed the OECD-European Commission HEInnovate(link is external) initiative. In Africa and the Middle East he has developed initiatives on high impact entrepreneurship(link is external)financial inclusion(link is external) and business incubation(link is external).

In 2010, his Masters course at UCP-Porto was recognized as an OECD best practice (PDF file)(link is external). Previously he was Faculty Coordinator and Guest Lecturer at the Haas School of Business(link is external) Center for Executive Education(link is external) at UC Berkeley, where he did his post-doctoral research at the Institute of European Studies where he is currently a Senior Fellow.
