The partnership between the UC Berkeley and University of St. Andrews, Scotland, UK, was established in 2018. Both universities are seeking to intensify their collaboration. The University of St Andrews is pleased to announce two scholarships for Berkeley graduate students in any discipline wishing to do research at St. Andrews.
Founded in 1413, the University of St. Andrews is Scotland’s oldest university, and the third oldest in the English-speaking world. In the QS rankings, St. Andrews has spent over ten years as one of the top 100 universities in the world.
The scholarship has a duration of up to three months maximum (shorter stays are possible). Students will need to organize their own travel and accommodations.
PLEASE NOTE: Grant recipients are expected to complete their research stay in residence at the designated partner university during the calendar year they applied for (not the end of the school year).
Award amount: The Fellowship offered by the St. Andrews is £1,000 month (up to 3 months) and will be paid to the Berkeley student upon arrival in St. Andrews.
