On April 26-27, 2024 Berkeley Law Professor and IES faculty affiliate David Oppenheimer organized a workshop titled "EU Comparative Workshop on Global and European Perspectives on Systemic Racism." Eleven authors from the forthcoming collected volume on Global Systemic Racism were invited to discuss their contributions to the publication. Participants included the following scholars: Adrien Wing (University of Iowa College of Law, USA), Marie Mercat-Bruns, (Conservatoire National des Arts and Metiers, France), Furaha-Joy Sekai Saungweme (Africa End Sexual Harassment Initiative (AESHI) , Kenya), Patricia Williams (Northeastern University School of Law, USA), Shreya Atrey (University of Oxford, UK), Thiago de Souza Ampara (FGV Law School of Sa Paolo, Brazil).
