Award amount: The Fellowship offered by Bristol in the faculties of Arts, Law and Social Sciences is up to $5,000 total for up to 3 months per academic year and will be paid to the Berkeley student upon arrival in Bristol.
Eligibility: Open to UC Berkeley graduate students in the Humanities & Social Sciences. Preference will be given to Berkeley students who can demonstrate in their application that they already have a faculty contact at Bristol.
Application Instructions: Applicants must submit the following materials:
- A one-page application letter, including a 100-word (maximum) abstract of your research and indication of the duration of your stay
- A research statement of approximately 1,500 words
- One letter of recommendation from a UC Berkeley faculty member; this letter should be sent to ies@berkeley.edu(link sends e-mail)
- One letter (or e-mail) from a research supervisor at Bristol, indicating the duration of your stay
- A short CV
