IES DAAD Grants (faculty)

You are here

Every two years IES applies for institutional funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to support several activities for its Center for German and European Studies including faculty research. The next call for proposals will be in Spring 2020 to fund activities in 2021 and 2022. Awards averaged $8000 per faculty in 2019. There are matching funds requirements. Faculty can receive awards for more than one year. Please email Dr. Akasemi Newsome if you wish to submit a proposal for consideration (akasemi@berkeley.edu).
