Laurent Mayali

Professor of Law, Curator of the Robbins Collection

Professor Mayali teaches and writes in the areas of legal history and comparative law. He is currently teaching an advanced research seminar in Comparative Law. He has published widely on medieval jurisprudence, customary law, and comparative law. He divides his time between Berkeley and Paris, where he holds a chair at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, 5e section.
