In addition, in a new initiative, the France-Berkeley Fund bestowed on two projects the "FBF Seal of Approval." Designed to encourage the formation of partnerships with private industry, the Seal commits the Fund to providing support in 2001-2002 to the following two teams, on condition that they secure matching funds from industry.
