The Institute of European Studies is organizing a panel of world
renowned experts from UC Berkeley to discuss what this "Year of
the Euro" portends.
Panelists include Barry
Eichengreen and Maury
Obstfeld from the Economics Department and Andy
Rose from the Haas School of Business. Topics include the impact
of the Euro on the international monetary system, EU enlargement,
and the European economy.
