The Center for British Studies is
having an
inaugural reception on
September
15th
from
5-7pm
to celebrate its opening as well as the exchange agreement
between Berkeley and Pembroke College, Cambridge. Invited attendees will include
faculty, graduate students and administrators from UCB as well as representatives
of British-American
organizations in the local community.
The Center seeks to promote the study of Britain on campus by bringing together
students and scholars from the arts, humanities, social sciences, and professional
schools.
